1. Online booking: 
Tickets can be reserved through the official online booking system from 14 days to 1 day before the departure date. On Fridays and Saturdays, tickets for up to two weeks in advance (up to Sunday) can be reserved. 
2. On-site purchase at the station: 
Tickets can be purchased at the station from 12 days before the departure date.
 

Zhushan Line Departure Time:
1. Online booking: 
Tickets can be reserved through the official online booking system from 14 days to 1 day (until 12:00 at noon) before the departure date. On Fridays and Saturdays, tickets for up to two weeks in advance (up to Sunday) can be reserved. 
2. On-site purchase at the station: 
Tickets can be purchased at the station from 12 days before the departure date. (Ticket sales are available daily until 4:30 p.m.)

Please request ticket refunds at least 30 minutes before departure. A 10% fee of the ticket price will be charged for each ticket. Refund requests will not be accepted after this deadline. Please refer to the ticketing instructions.

(2) For tickets collected via ibon, please request a refund at any ibon machine or Alishan Forest Railway station.

Zhushan Line Departure Time:
The departure time will be announced at 4:30 p.m. on the day before boarding on the official website, the 2nd floor of Alishan Station, the main gate of the Alishan Forest Recreation Area, and the Visitor Center.
It takes around 25 minutes via Zhushan Line.

Souvenirs can be purchased during business hours (9:00–16:00) at Beimen Station, Zhuqi Station, and Alishan Station.

Pets are only allowed on the "Chiayi–Erwanping" section trains. Pets must be placed in carriers no larger than 43 cm (L) × 32 cm (W) × 31 cm (H) and put under the seat. (Pets are not allowed in Alishan National Forest Recreation Area.)

Yes. 
But bicycles must be placed in a dedicated bicycle bag, with a total weight under 15 kg, a length under 100 cm, and total dimensions (L+W+H) no longer than 200 cm. Bicycles are not allowed in the aisle of the train.
