Fenqihu Garage plays an essential role to rest and maintain for Alishan railway. Steam trains would refill water and coal and change locomotives to continue the trip. This garage was dissolved in 1985 and transformed into an exhibit hall of steam trains. There are No. 18, No. 29 steam locomotives and their photographs displayed on the wall.
